My first trip to Barbados
and wow! It totally lived up to, indeed exceeded all my
expectations - beautiful lush vegetation, white sandy beaches, and
friendly people - together with great food, great weather and a
portfolio of fantastic hotels to choose from. Makes me wonder why
anyone would want to go anywhere else - maybe that is why our
clients love Barbados and what we offer them!
I may have been in paradise but I was still working hard,
spending a very busy week travelling around meeting hotel General
Managers, seeing and experiencing the island's top properties and
gaining invaluable, first hand knowledge and insight into exactly
what our clients want and why they come back again and again.
Sandy Lane is a favourite of ITC and our clients and I
can see why, with its perfectly fitting pink theme and monkey
emblems dotted around the hotel, which add to its great character
and a very relaxed feel. I particularly loved the Dolphin Suites,
which are spacious and always in demand, so early bookings are a
'must' to ensure you are enveloped in splendour when you get
there!
Fairmont Royal Pavilion, another favorite, with its newly
refurbished Beachfront Suites, took my breath away! How lovely to
wake up in the morning with a stunning view across the bedroom out
to the crystal shimmering sea, a few footsteps from the edge of
your bed out to your private deck and onto the soft white sandy
beach, now that is a dream come true!!!
Not only do we feature amazing hotels but we also have access to
some fantastic villas, Alyeso,
Tradewinds and The
Dream to name but a few... Space, location and amenities with
chef, butler and maid at your service all add up to a holiday like
no other. Not a finger to be lifted, except to raise that cooling
rum punch to your lips…now that is living the Barbados
Dream!
